ABOUT THE FILM
“Hey Monster Hands Off My City” is the film adaptation of Michael Meehan’s one-man play (Fringe Festival 2011). A monster/detective comedy with social commentary on corporate greed, civic malfeasance and the evil of meter maids. Heavily featuring the fine city of San Francisco, its local comedic treasures, and some Gratitude Center familiar faces.

“A beautiful-looking movie with a particular sensibility that mixes absurdity and zany humor with sober concerns […] Scene after scene impresses with its comic inventiveness, its arresting brand of lunacy.” – Mike LaSalle, SF Chronicle
